The Alarm Clock

Without exception, mornings are tough.
Waking up is a race against yourself and against time.
Sometimes you might feel like you're going to lose.
In that case, why not try another time?
"Time" exists all over the world. I don't think you have to focus only on your own time.
There are various scenes in the world when you have to wake up. A family lying on the beach with a beautiful sunset.
People rushing home after a day's work, the bustling flow of people and cars in a big city, etc.
Along with such scenes, as a member of the Earth, I thought, "Next, it's my turn."
If you could greet the morning with this kind of feeling, you would wake up with a strangely satisfying feeling.
Here lies new value created by breaking down preconceived notions.

THE BATH CLOCK
MONTAG DESIGN
Montag means " Monday " in German.
The start of the week is a tough one for everyone.
A feeling of helpless depression washes over me.
I can't solve the problem, but I hope it can motivate you even just a little bit.
If only we could create more of these moments in our lives...
We will propose value that no one has seen before and challenge new possibilities.

With a background in UX creation at PLAYSTATION, I have long been engaged in end-to-end creative development—from building worlds and defining concepts to crafting visual identities and designing communication between people and products.
I contributed conceptual and visual design for the graphical user interface of PLAYSTATION PORTABLE and PLAYSTATION 3, with the goal of evolving the PLAYSTATION brand. Later, I joined the R&D studio in San Francisco, where I took part in a collaborative project with Stanford University: Folding@home, which utilized the processing power of PLAYSTATION 3. This work was recognized with the 2008 Good Design Gold Award.
Following that, I led the launch of Life Space UX, a new concept initiative by SONY, offering conceptual direction for product creation and producing immersive spatial experiences that extended the DNA of that worldview.
In 2018, I founded the creative studio MONTAG DESIGN.
Our focus is to question existing notions of value and explore how design can quietly reshape the way we perceive everyday life. Through sound, scent, space, and silence, we craft products that serve not only as objects, but as experiences that reframe what it means to live with intention.
Today, I continue to provide creative consulting and strategic support across a range of fields, including product design, brand development, and spatial direction.
